"Painting and art in general are so present in my life that I could never see myself happy without them!"

"From a very young age, I already knew that I would work with drawings and paintings. I always liked to draw shapes and... to mix colors on paper. With the help and influence of my parents, also artists, everything seemed easier. My father was a printmaker, photographer and journalist who met my mother when they were art majors at the university.

"As an adolescent I painted shop windows and began to earn money with my talent. This decorative art stimulated me even more to perfect my painting and to devote myself to art. I began, then, to produce pictures to participate in my first collective exhibit and await the public's acceptance. It was an enriching and very satisfactory experience.

"I studied even more, and traveled to learn and to increase my cultural background in relation to art. My formation includes a university degree in art and I taught classes for children and adults. It was always a pleasure.

"At one point in my life, due to family and financial problems, I saw myself move away from painting. But that didn't last long. My desire for expressing my ideas through painting surfaced all of a sudden and I went back to my studio and my pleasure. With certainty, painting and art in general are so present in my life that I could never see myself happy without them!"
