"I grew up trading my toys for paints and brushes in my father's studio. My enjoyment of drawing and painting was soon... noted and, at the age of fourteen, I decided I'd like to paint professionally.

"I am a diversified artist. My work ranges from the academic and the classic to abstract modern, but I prefer Impressionistic landscapes. I divide my time between painting and music, an art that also fascinates me. At present, I play drums for a hard rock band."

"I am part of a group of artists with whom I participate in a number of events, such as forming groups to paint in the streets – a fascinating experience that permits one to precisely grasp the atmosphere of a scene allowing a better representation of the ambience. We also participate in exhibitions and art catalogues.

"My work is found in Brazilian museums and galleries, and in private collections throughout the world. I won a gold medal in the XIV Encontro de Pintura da Praça Floriano e Encontro de Pintura Auguste F. Marie Glaziou, organized by the city of Rio de Janeiro in 1993.
