"We blend modern techniques with heirloom details to create on-trend, high-quality jewelry that is provocative and sophisticated… our designs are influenced by our cultural roots."

"I am a jewelry designer from Jaipur, the Pink City of India. Jaipur's intricate and vibrant style is a constant source... of inspiration. I always had a keen and creative instinct that drove me to sketch out designs, starting at a very young age. I'm gifted with creating unique jewelry that has both value and a distinct sense of heritage. I also give unwavering attention to quality.

"My friends describe me as friendly, humble, highly sociable and hardworking. I'm fond of reading books, and I love traveling.

"As a woman born and raised in Jaipur, I was always fascinated by the beautiful designs of the jewelry worn by my mother, family members and other women of the locality. But the turning point in my life came when I had to start working to sustain myself and my son after a broken marriage. As I was interested in jewelry designing, I learned this art. I was very keen to create new and attractive designs. The bright, colorful luster of gemstones fascinates me.

"I learned a lot from the many people with whom I came in my touch while working at a jewelry company. I met a lot of designers, and they helped me to understand techniques. My colleagues also taught me how to craft the jewelry. I worked hard for 12 years at the same company. Now, I can design as well as make jewelry myself.

"During my career, I met a lot of shoppers as well as designers. Their ideas and problems led me to start my own workshop. I now have a team of ten artisans with whom I craft my designs.

"We use sterling silver and semiprecious gemstones. The best part of making jewelry is finding the perfect combination of silver and gemstones. The challenge is to maintain quality in proportion to price. We blend modern techniques with heirloom details to create on-trend, high-quality jewelry that is provocative and sophisticated, yet available at accessible prices. In addition, our designs are influenced by our cultural roots. We avoid machine-made designs, and believe in handmade touches in each piece of jewelry, even if it is costlier than machine-made work.

"I always feel proud to share the beauty and intricacy of jewelry designing and techniques. I work with local artisans and, in this way, I support them and their families both financially and socially. I'm very positive and hopeful that one day I'll be able to create a name for myself and be counted among top jewelry designers. I am thankful for the opportunity to showcase my work."
