"I design freely with the objective of making my styles transmit happiness. My greatest challenge is helping the women who wear them to dare to be different...."

"I was born and raised in Lima. From childhood, I had an interest in photography and I majored in advertising science... while also studying photography fashion design and interior decoration.

"I worked as a photographic producer for catalogues and fashion publishing houses in Peru and elsewhere. During this time, I began to incorporate clothing design as an 'expression of the human being.' My greatest interest is that the women wearing my designs feel unique.

"My friends describe me as a person who has much love to give and with a very good vibe. I find inspiration in nature, in women, in freedom and leaving the conventional behind. Today, I design freely with the objective of making my styles transmit happiness. My greatest challenge is helping the women who wear them to dare to be different and define a style of their own.

"I work with my mother, who helps me with administrative tasks. I purchase supplies from people who are enthusiastic and show a great love for their work, people who aren't afraid to try something new. I also look for suppliers who are punctual and are committed to my designs. I work mostly with Peruvian alpaca wool and cotton, natural fibers known around the world for their excellent quality.

"Each one of my apparel items is well thought out and made with much love. I design them to carry a message to the wearer — the message that we can all become better human beings.

"Working on my own has been a long, hard path that only the brave dare take. But the satisfactions are indescribable.

"My plans for the future are to expand my workshop so I can give jobs to others and, together, create a team where we all continue learning. I am donating a portion of my profits to institutions that help the elderly and the mentally ill."
