Arpita Sharma

"My dream is to see traditional craftsmanship flourish alongside modern techniques—celebrating our artisans while embracing sustainable materials and innovative ideas."

"Hello friends, I’m Arpita Sharma from the vibrant city of Jaipur, often known as the Pink City of India. My friends... describe me as fun-loving, empathetic, and someone with clear thinking and strong determination.

"My passion for jewelry design began in childhood. I was always captivated by the intricate craftsmanship of traditional Indian ornaments. This early fascination soon turned into a deep curiosity about the cultural heritage and history behind each piece of jewelry, which fueled my love for the art form.

"After completing my master’s degree, I interned at a jewelry company, where I got hands-on experience in the field. What I love most about jewelry design is the transformative journey of each piece—from raw materials to a polished work of art. I have always been drawn to vibrant gemstones, and this passion eventually led me to pursue jewelry design professionally.

"I enrolled in a formal jewelry design course where I learned the intricacies of the craft. Upon completing the course, I started my own workshop in partnership with my brother and a small but dedicated team of artisans and staff. While I focus on designing and working closely with artisans to bring my creations to life, my brother manages marketing, inventory, and shipping.

"My biggest inspiration has been my mother, who works in the semi-precious gemstone industry. She introduced me to the world of gemstones and taught me the importance of quality and authenticity.

"I work exclusively with pure 925 sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones for all my creations. My dream is to see traditional craftsmanship flourish alongside modern techniques—celebrating our artisans while embracing sustainable materials and innovative ideas. I envision a future where jewelry is more than just an accessory—it becomes a meaningful form of self-expression and maybe even integrates smart technology.

"The artisans I work with come from rural parts of Jaipur and had limited opportunities to showcase their talent. Through our workshop, they gain employment, education for their children, and access to health benefits—empowering them to live better, self-reliant lives.

My vision is to become a successful jewelry designer and build a brand that is known for both artistry and integrity. I am deeply grateful to NOVICA for providing me a platform to share the beauty of my designs with the world."
