"Both of us are from the Mexican city of Irapuato. From the time we were teens, we felt a special fascination for metal... and its components. How the quality and variety of metals such as copper, gold and silver are related to the epochs of our planet. Their combinations seem sober and elegant.

"We both have learned in different ways. Claudia has worked in repoussé since she was in the university. I've worked with metals since I began my career as a designer," Julio says.

"When we joined forces to begin this project was when we began to discover the strength of our synergy. But above all, we began to love the work of our hands and trust in the capability of our undertaking, which we alternated with other activities that let us continue learning.

"As our knowledge grew, we began to find meaning in the words of each of our teachers. We began discovering the indescribable joy of our willingness and learned from our errors each day. All of this has led to a wonderful self discovery.

"With every new design, we capture Mexico's cultural wealth. It's in our blood. It's our principal source of inspiration.

"Innovation is primordial in our work and we transmit this through the use of silver.

"We both have the firm conviction that this is our life's vocation. We want with all our hearts that our children continue our fascination with metals and the magic of transforming them."
