On a field of poppy red, metallic threads of aluminum and brass have been hypnotically woven into leather in this Bohemian chic design by Reshma Anand of India. With cotton lining, the leather wallet has a zipper coin purse and bill compartment on one side, as well as four card slots, an ID window, and another bill compartment on the opposite side. Beautiful and fun, this free spirited billfold will hold all your most precious items with the exotic flare of the colors of India.

"Since we work with many artisan groups across the country, art lovers can find a wide range of creations from us."

"I was born and brought up in Delhi. I majored in economics and then received my MBA before starting my career in a huge... international corporation. After six years, I felt I had a sound foundation in sales, market research, new product development and marketing across some of the leading brands in India.

"During my time in marketing and business development, I had the opportunity to see and learn about the exquisite art of India. I got in touch with many artisans, learned about their stories and also saw the issues faced by Indian entrepreneurial ventures.

"My travel around India has been my biggest source of education and inspiration. We're not taught about crafts and our cultural heritage as a part of our formal education in school. Hence, when I started meeting artisans, weavers, and small craft-based entrepreneurs around India, I was humbled and amazed by the wealth of talent and skills in our country. However, despite such distinctive skills, their inability to get access to markets and a fair remuneration for their craft was a chronic refrain I heard wherever I went. This became the starting point of my journey.

"In and around 2009, I began working to bridge the gap between these artisans and to bring their craft and creativity to the rest of the world. We started to identify and target many micro entrepreneurs across deep remote parts of India — including the hills states of Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and the Northeast, Kutch, Orissa, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh.

"We set up a design studio and office in Delhi. The designs are mostly ours, with an amalgamation of the exquisite Indian craft techniques from different parts of the country. So we ensure unique designs with a touch of traditional craftwork. Our team works together constantly to ensure the best quality through a rigorous process of sampling, development and approval along with regular field visits to observe production.

"Since we work with many artisan groups across the country, art lovers can find a wide range of creations from us. Apart from our exquisite home décor collection, we also have an extensive variety of natural fiber-based home accents, glassware, folk art, natural handmade cosmetics, leather accessories, handcrafted gift boxes, textile accessories such as stoles, scarves, bags and pouches, and more.

"We aim to continue adding new artisans and craft techniques to our network, develop designs that endear our crafts to urban shoppers and also build a culture of ethical consumption — where we as consumers make choices that are good for us and good for our producers.

FINDING YOUR SIZE

Take your measurements with the tape measure over your under garments. If your measurements fall between sizes you may prefer the next larger size. Inseam, skirt and dress lengths vary by style and will be listed in the item description. Our sweaters are knit in standard American sizes, however actual measurements vary by style.

BUST / CHEST

Measure around the fullest part of chest under the arms and over the shoulder blades keeping the tape measure level.

WAIST

Measure around the smallest part of the waist keeping the tape measure comfortably loose. Most garments use the low waist measurement noted below.

LOW WAIST

Measure around the body approximately 1.5" below the natural waist (above). This is the area where most pants and skirts actually fit.

HIPS

Standing with your heels together, measure around the fullest part of the body approx 7"-8" below the waist.

NECK

Measure around the base of the neck keeping the tape measure comfortably loose.

SLEEVE

Bend elbow slightly and starting at the center back of the neck, measure across the shoulder, to the elbow and down to the wrist.

INSEAM

Our standard inseam length for women is 32" and 34" for men; however inseam measurements will vary slightly by style.

 

Belts with buckles are measured in inches that correspond to a waist size however, most people do not wear belts on the waist, they wear them closer to the hips. A buckle belt measurement is take from the end of the "pin" of the buckle to the middle hole on the belt. Generally there are 5 holes for size adjustment, with a 1" space between each, so the middle hole will the be average size of the belt.

For at tie belt (no buckle) measure the belt portion end to end and half of the tie portion. This again is the medium size of the belt.

For a soft fabric tie belt it can be called "1 size fits most" and the entire length of the belt should be measured and listed.

Sash tie length

Lay sash/tie out flat away from the garment and measure from end to end.

Belt with buckle

Measure from the end of the pin of the buckle (where it touches the buckle) to the middle hole.

Belt without buckle

Measure from the belt portion end to end and half of the tie portion. This is will give you the medium size of the belt.
